Plastic is crude oil.

There is a lot we don't know about plastics. For example, that a large part of it can be turned back into crude oil. For us, this is the last step towards solving the plastic problem. In the beginning is the avoidance and substitution of plastic. PLAWARE works on different fronts and in different countries.
COMMITMENT
We are committed to sustainable development

Our community-based and decentralized waste management approach to deal with the current plastic pollution in Cambodia is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Environment

Our Community Programme aims to reduce the existing plastic pollution on land and in water.

Poverty

We want to create new income opportunities through the sale of oil from the collected plastic.

Education

We develop purposeful educational material for children and adults that can help reducing the plastic pollution.

" In rural Cambodia about 0.45 kg of waste
is produced per person and day 1.
Municipal waste consists of
approx. 10 % of plastic 2. "

To me Plaware is a good institution with a good foundation. It has a perfect approach for recycling and reusing (plastic). It’s a project that I personally like and support!
